Mission

Founding principle
YUNiK’s founding principles are based on the idea that commitment, sharing and collective action combine to increase the chances of success for youth in our community. YUNiK wants to help by financing concrete one-off projects with organizations selected by the founding members. We believe that our innovative foundation model is a channel of redistribution and development for our society; it is based on the fundamental belief that together it is possible to make a difference.
Marc André Baulne
Co-Founder of the YUNiK Foundation
It was in 2008 when Marc André and a group of 17 other people from the business world decided to pool, on an annual basis and in their personal names, funds within a foundation they’ve called YUNiK, whose objective is to make a difference for local youth by financing targeted local activities for their development.
Every year, YUNiK members organize a rallying event that enables them to reveal the project financed for the coming year as well as to raise additional funds to increase the Foundation’s redistribution potential.
